How long is the turnaround for ICON suspension service? I'm coming up on suspension service at 40K of use. Does it mean that I'll be without my daily driver for days or weeks?

I believe a week when factoring shipping. They are within driving distance of me, they said 1 day turn around time for self drop off/pickup.

do they not have any approved shock places near you? Im sure you can find a shock shop in texas

Nearest authorized service is in Selma, Tx. That's about 4 hours away, just outside of San Antonio. Weird that they sell them all over the United States but if you don't live near authorized service, then you have to be without your vehicle for at least a week. How many people can do that without renting?

I saved some stock shocks to be able to take mine off for servicing. Bummer but works.

maybe the place 4 hours away can schedule to do them while you wait there?

I have my stock suspension still and wheels/tires...but that feels like a lot of labor costs to remove the ICONs and install the old suspension... It should be easier than this.

Icon in-house rebuilds only on Tuesdays. Timing is key. I took mine off and shipped them on a Friday. I got them back the next Friday. Yep, no truck for a week. But having a quality, life-time shock for a $75/each rebuild every 50k miles (no leaks or drop in performance, just wanted it done) is worth the hassle to me.

I have also used DC Shock Services (626) 252-3566. Excellent service.

I see there is one service center in Texas: TPM Racing (210) 825-1433.

    Good luck!

I dont see it as that much of an inconvenience. Every 2-3-4 years it needs done?

Three for me...I usually do about 15 a year. My next is due in almost exactly a year, so I was trying to get it all ironed out. I do have a leaking driver front shock. Thinking it may make it...have to keep an eye on it.
