Hey all, just a heads up. Aside from the poor tech support I've gotten over the last 3 years (documented on many different threads on here)20220511_085249.jpg as to arrangement of the leaf pack, I now have a broken leaf. I contacted Icon warranty dept, and haven't gotten a response. Please learn from my mistake and stay away from Icon.

No, I do not wheel this truck, I actually noticed this today while installing air bags since she squats so bad when towing my trailer....My 6000lb (at fully loaded) boat & trailer. This is most likely the reason for the sagging. I really thought they were just wearing out.

    Pretty things
I always pull my truck out of the water after launching the boat...

Crazy those leafs (leaves.?) are only 3 years old with that corrosion.

Thank you for the feedback, and I hope Icon decides to do the right thing by you.

I hope so too... Those things started to rust about a month after I installed them. It was nuts! They look as old as the rest of the truck LoL. I live in PA, when we back the boat, we never even get the leafs wet LoL. It looks like I keep it on the Atlantic coast!

The rust on those is quite considerable. You might have received a bad batch, mine look brand new... granted, I added several coats of anti-rust paint and half a can of dry PTFE before installing them.

I'm going to reach out to them today if I don't hear back. My truck is down until I get this fixed. This is the leaf you remove when you do the "option 2" setup.

Here it is... I'm now at "Option 2". Took out leaf #3, incidently the one that was broken, and the good one on the other side, and left the extra leaf in. That equates to 3" of lift, then added a 2" block, and added a set of airbags. That should do it for now. Icon replied and said they are sending a new leaf out, but would be a little bit because of supply chain shortages. This setup may just work better. The bag setup is rough country air bag setup, the mounting plates are perfect so there's minimal overhang from the side. I added a 2" spacer, and Daystar cradles. With the tires on they just comfortably into the cradle.

I bet Icon never intended the extra leaf to be a spare :D

Granted, I've had these for 3 years, hopefully by now they've figured out a better rust inhibitor.

Well, leafs tend to rust superficially, the issue here might be bad steel... too many unknowns to be sure, metal fatigue may also be involved.
OEM springs can look rusty and even have some minor flakes, will likely last +20 years without a recoat because they're quality materials.
