Can we not fit icon alloys? I have a 2005 and don’t understand why icon site and other vendors say it’s not a fit when they are six lug 5.5’s.

Call them liars and see what they say

Stock wheel bore for 2005 is 106mm
I looked up Icon Alpha wheels, bore is 106
17s should fit fine over the brake calipers. Backspace is 4.5" which is acceptable, width is 8.5" which is acceptable.

Tell them send a set and if they fit they're free, they can start selling to first gen guys and thank you for opening a new market.

Thanks gents. They said that their check fitment tool isn't working. Guess that explains that. Eh, can I still get a free set though?

Doesn't hurt to ask. I would tell them send a set over and your truck can act as a fitment checker! You'll need to keep the wheels though for R&D, long term fitment assurance.

Oh of course. Scored two wheels on CL (guy was going to build a trailer but never did) and another two from a dealer friend. Picked up five 285/70/17 ko2s off CL today from one of those installed them and then a few months later wanted 35’s guys. Will get everything on this weekend and post again.
