Didnt see one of these threads so I figured I'd start one, im always interested in the gadgets guys have for hunting trips, weather it's something simple that they love like a favorite cooler or that super BA rangefinder that let's you know how far the animal is to the closest hair to you. I want to see them!

The wife just got me this for my birthday, a game hoist that fits in my trucks trailer receiver. Really excited to use this! 20200926_181810.jpg

Over the years I've managed to accumulate alot of hunting junk. Most of it hasn't seen the light of day in a long time. I don't know if I'd call it a favorite but one of the most useful gadgets I have is a Goal Zero solar panel and charger.switch-8-solar-kit_01.jpgIt's handy for keeping cameras, phones, mp3's, etc charged up.
My favorite gadget is my .300 mag.

A backpack, good binos, rifle, knife and good boots are my prerequisites.

JetBoil by far my favorite item, I don't function well without hot coffee and a warm meal.

Another "gadget" I have is something quite simple and I really like it. Its just some pvc pipe with a bolt and wing nut that I use as a shooting stick. Holds up a rifle nice when you don't need it and gives you a good solid base when shooting from a kneeling position also weighs a lot less then an attached bipod too!

This made me realize I need new binoculars. I lost my Nikon in a move. Suggestions (without breaking the bank)?

My father in-law just bought a pair of these and he says the would fantastic. Also seem like a good price point for sure!

starting to appreciate game carts, forest land/game lands here in PA don't permit atvs. I've rigged my gear and climber on it and was able to go 5 miles in from nearest access point. Without the cart, I never would've took the climber in that far..

Those really are a game changer, for years we used an old plastic snow sled that did ok but it was tough to pull over the tall grass and brush. Got a cart a few years back and it has saved the back quite a few times and made the long walk back to the truck with animal a little easier!

if enough snow I still opt for the sled. If hunting is slow sled riding is always an option

Sadly came back empty handed. Saw a few bucks but we only had doe tags. Got to take a rifle for a walk in Gods country and that is always a great time!

Where we go for antelope there is no trees within about 2 miles. We used to have an old swingset that we would use from when my wife was a kid but this can hold the weight much better.

My Nikon Monarch have an amazing FOV. That’s the one knock on Maven binoculars - a narrow field of view.
