Excited to join a new forum after being a member on Tundra Solutions many years ago. Yesterday, I traded my beautiful black 2003 Tundra in after only 210k+ miles. Walked out with a white 2019 Platinum Tundra and couldn’t be happier. After 16 years of driving a reliable, fun, memorable truck I couldn’t leave and jump on the “Ford Raptor” wagon. Stuck true to what I believe is the best truck for my life.

Now, let the mods begin! Any pictures or suggestions are welcomed. First things first, I want to get new tires and wheels. I’m looking into the BR Traverse wheels but don’t know if they will fit the Tundra. I really liked the BFG A/T KO originals. The sidewalls on the 2’s threw me off. Then I want to tint the windows and add a light tint to the windshield. Lastly, some AMP step running boards would be nice. Maybe a leveling kit.... not sure.

Thanks for letting me introduce myself. Again, excited to be on a new forum with a new truck. Cheers to 2019!

    Welcome from NY.

I see you removed TUNDRA and you already have running boards.
I would color match mirror caps and door handles to match your bumpers.

Thanks Jim! Actually, those are the stock running boards. I should of clarified that I’m looking into replacing them with AMP step running boards or something different than the stock ones. Also, I didn’t remove the TUNDRA sign... that’s how the truck came off the lot.

Welcome! I went from an 03 to an 18 as well.

Did you actually trade your truck into the dealer, or sell it private party? Curious to how much they gave you on trade if you don't mind me asking.

Been doing some work on the truck.
    -Icon Coilovers
    -Camburg UCA’s
    -Amp Step Running Boards
    -Madico Full Tint on Vehicle
    -Black Rhino Barstow Wheels 20”
    -Toyo AT 2 Tires 295/60/20
    -Spray-in bed liner
-TRD Rear Sway bar (painted black)

What else do you think I should get done? I’m looking at replacing the cabin lights and outdoor lights with pure white LED’s and possibly getting rid of all the chrome that the Platinum trim comes with.

    Thanks,
    BWD

    Nice!

Bed lights, and the tail gate Pop Lock are two functional mods I like. Painted handles and mirrors would look good. I really want those steps too, good choice.
