I was wondering if there are any diagrams or repair manuals to help me take down the roof headliner on my truck, i want to isolate a noise but i am having trouble with Map console in the front center, don't know how to safely take that down.

    Thanks,

Snapping noise continuous. Only on smooth HWY does it stop. Upper Passenger windshield. In the middle probably closer to where Map lights are and speaker console or whatever that black box is. Does it whether its plus 5 or minus 5 so i don't think its a cold issue. Been doing it for 3 months now. Purchased the truck in May. Its not plastic that holds rear view mirror wires i taped that. Not sure if its window clip either, that problem used to be famous. I hope its not a window issue.

In mine which is 2016 DC there is a rectangular cover that you pry off from the sides and 2 torx screws are in there. Also 2 torx screws in the little eye glass storage. That's all the screws in mine. Than you just unplug the wires...mine had one. But be sure to be careful taking the headliner down, the replacement cost on mine is over $1.500.00 I had to take mine down to replace deployed airbags20190107_164252.jpg 20190107_132614.jpg
In the second picture if you expand it the cover is in between the lights. For mine to drop completely down I had to take everything off, visors everything.

I rearended someone unfortunately, we were both braking then he came to a dead stop. Was going 25 or 30 mph and braking. Bumper damage, no body damage. All airbags but one deployed.
On the drivers side there was a 10m screw...this was really odd under the cap that says airbag...lol

Crazy. Still cheaper than buying a new truck.

Yes it is, before the adjuster even seen my truck he told me to go shop for a new truck to have one lined up because mine would probably be totaled, just because of airbags.
Then a adjuster called and asked me if I knew where my truck was...because it wasnt where his paperwork said...we both thought it was stolen! Come to find out a shop had the same name but in a different town! So his paperwork was wrong. The adjuster said once he got to the shop that he was going to total it before he seen it again, he came back in and said no way can he total it, he said that trucks worth to much to total. I was glad I like my truck!!

I am sure he felt like an idiot after he hung up. Hopefully now he confirms the shops address instead of just the name.

Curious why you don't just have the dealer mess with it, it's under warranty.
