I need to fit my truck in my buddy's garage for when I go on vacation next month. right now I'm sitting 4 to 5 " too high with my 33" at normal highway pressure (36). If I air down to 8 psi. How many inches can I expect to lose ? thanks !

how big are your rims, how wide are your tires, how stiff of a sidewall do you have? All of that plays a factor. I was at pismo this past weekend and aired down my 37x12.50's on 17's and only lost about a inch and a half of height....

Air them down when you get home. Just do one to see where it's at and if it's good then air it back up and you'll have the peace of mind. Won't hurt anything aired down on pavement. hell I drove my truck 2 miles on the pavement at 8psi to get to the shop when I busted the front axles at pismo. Just don't do sharp turns or hard U turns and don't go over 50 or brake hard.

5 inches? Hate to say it but I doubt airing down's even going to help that much!
Could try it though, or just take your wheels off and prop the truck on some hydraulic rollers LOL

I'm thinking you are going to have a problem with that. No way you will get 4"+ deflating your tires.

Something like this might do it. Just airing down wont. Maybe if you are rim to the ground but then your damaging your tires.
