My tundra has been in my family since 38,000 miles. It now has 284K. I have been driving it for about 5 years.

Had my 03 Tundra for 12 years. Sold it and bought a 15 DC. Even though I love the 15, I miss my 03. Sold it to a friend at work who loves it.

    I had a 2000 for 2 years, presently selling my 2001 which I had for roughly 3 years and I have a 2005 I recently purchased.
I like the 1st Gen more than the newer models, but I will admit I love that 5.7

17 years and hoping for at least 5 more after this years reinvesting program. Bought it new for around $27k. She has never let me down ever. Everythings currently been optimized over the year from a mechanical standpoint. Just a few more tweaks here and there left to do.

That's about where I was with my 01. Almost there mechanically, I had a few more things on the list

It takes a while to get it all right, but the love put in gets returned back. People can’t believe how old my truck is. Just today a neighbor said he thought it was a newer vehicle. Told him thanks, and believe it or not, its running better than when it was new.

People stay forever in debt trading in for newer vehicles but truth is that these Toyota's can go for a long time with proper maintenance.

I bought it about 9 years ago completely stock. I got it from the original owner with about 75k on it.

I've had mine for 3 years. Purchased it with 138k. I often wonder who owned it(1 owner). They took very good care of it. Even the interior was mint. I paid more than I should have but I was blown away by the condition it was in and I found a lot of maintenance records online.

So you have about 175-225k miles on it?

I would agree although my ownership has been a little loose like a late night street walker :spending:

About 9 months, think I've managed to put almost as many dollars into it as miles on it in that time.

My dad bought the truck new right after his divorce. It's been in either his or my possession ever since. 316k and still going!

Bought my 2000 in late 2000 because it was easier to get my kid in the back. Gave it to him when he turned 16 and most recently shipped it across the country a couple of years ago when he got stationed there.

So its still in the family after about 19 years.

Bought my 05 just over 2 years ago now I think. It had 128,000KMS on it. Currently sitting at 175000KMS. Once I hit 225000KMS or so I'll probably starting shopping for a 3rd gen to replace it as my daily, but I'll never sell my 1st Gen.
