I have always loved the “How it’s made” shows and watched this one on how limousines are made.

Now I know that this is sped up to TV time, but really? That’s it? I was expecting so much more engineering!

How do they deal with the payload increase? Is there some sort of exemption for limos? (And can a Tundra be registered as on!)

The frame extension was super straight forward though. It surprised me.

I'll admit to not watching the video but I thought only certain vehicles could be turned into limos. Can't remember exact details but I think they only convert body on frame vehicles. Not sure what other considerations might go into it, such as strength checks.

The question is.....are you going to do the ultimate mod and convert your Tunny into a mountain limo with hot tub?

Its really easy when everything is pre formed like that but still a lot of work.
I've stretched a bunch of jeep tubs and frames, its the same process just not near as quick.

I’ll admit “how it’s made” is one of my go to shows.

However on a side note, with enough work, anything can become a limousine...

Stretch Excursion with Super Duty 8’ bed on the rear.

It was massive, seated 20 with a fireplace, kegerator and 55” tv, air brakes and a CDL licensed driver!

We rode is style for my bachelor party.
