I am mulling putting some lights into my bulge grill. How can I run them in the hood to my headlight. Should I try to run them inside the hood or just put them though the insulation on the inside of the hood and put clips on the open areas

That’s what I did in my Tacoma hood scoop. Same application for the tundra bulge.

I ran mine through the actual hood. The wires will come out down near the hood mount. There’s a couple of holes down there. I put in a “Knight Rider” type light a couple months back!

If you are adding front clearance lights in the hood bulge, my suggestion (which I found here somewhere on the forum) is to run the positive wire through the hood, come out of the hole near the hood hinge as stated above. Instead of running back up to the headlight, I ran my positive wire through the firewall in the grommet for the wiring harness and used a mini fuse add a circuit in the spot for the tail lights. This was cheap and easy to do and each circuit will have it's own fuse.

Anyone know which fuse to tap into for the DRL's ? I have the halogen headlights with the DRL strip below them.

So how do the lights work with tapping into the tail light fuse under the dash? Do the grill lights only come on with the parking lights or do they also come on with the DRL's ?

They will only come on with the tail lights. I was only looking for them to be on at night. If you tie them into the DRL's, they won't be on at night since the DRL's go off when the headlights come on. I'm not sure what to suggest as far as wiring them to be on day or night, you would have to find something that's hot all of the time and tap it there.
