i just got my 2020 Tundra and have been switching out some of the lighting to LED. I’ve always had good luck with VLED so I ordered all of my bulbs from them. When I installed the puddle lights I was a little disappointed that they are secured with 3m red automotive tape. Everything seems secure after the install, but I’m curious if anyone who is running these lights has had any issues with them coming loose over time. I don’t wing that metal housing to fall out and start beating the side of my truck while going down the highway.

I’ve had mine on for about 5 months with no issues. Still mounted flush under the mirror.

Rx350 retrofitted, Morimoto Led fogs. interior and exterior leds swap. TRD drop in filter. Carbon filter delete. Led DRL panels. TRD Shift knob.
The driver's side vled puddle light has started to peel off. Had them on about 2 yrs. The 3m is not sticking anymore. I made sure to clean the inside with alcohol wipe before installing. Now have to find a way to get more double side tape on there.
Passenger side is holding on fine.
