Im looking for tuners in the Houston area. Someone that can dyno tune a supercharged Tundra with extra mods. I have been on the waiting list with ProSpeed for four months, but they still have not released their support package for the tune and are not doing tunes until that is all addressed. Not bashing them, but I need a tune pretty quick since my CEL is still on from the Long Tube install and I need inspection. DAP would be a last option for me since they are in the Dallas area and I do not really want to travel that far. I can wait a bit longer on Prospeed, but I keep getting the same "one more week" response every time I ask and am needing a plan B.

I have dealt with fastlane. They do not tune tundras, but after they messed with my exhaust, i would not even let them change my oil.

Id like to stick with someone that has experience with the mighty T.

that’s the thing, not many are experienced with the tundra, even prospeed which are top notch use hp tuners, but hp tuners has only carried the tundra platform for about a year, so even though they are a great shop with tons of experience, they have only had about 1 year with the tundra.

Im on the trd flash but if I had to pick one tuner, I would be driving up to Dallas to get dap.

DAP is not completely off the table, just difficult for me to get over there. I would really like to go with Prospeed. they have a really good rep and are taking an interest in bringing some innovative parts to the table for our platform. Aside from the not knowing when they will be ready, the potential cost may be up there on top of the tune. I know they are working on injectors/custom pump solutions/CNC machined fuel rails/ air intakes..... They keep telling me they are working on pricing so we will see how it goes.

    Flux capacitor!
I can tell you how much I spent to have Pro Speed do the my hp tune, injectors and fuel pump if it helps you out. The Tundra can be very finicky having a SC and long tube headers.

You’re right, Dap is just the right now answer, prospeed is working on a few things, my buddy’s truck is one of the ones they been testing a few things on.

In the future I can see myself going with prospeed or OVtune, but right now it’s dap.

Can’t remember off the top but it’s the ones for catalyst efficiency on both sides due to the aftermarket cats

If you’re trying to just get rid of the code right now, you can get cat sims and you won’t need a tune just yet.

Thanks man!. I will give you a shout when i get off work.
I had O2 sims. but they went with the old headers i sold. Figured i would not need them any more, then they did an allstop on the Tundra tuning at prospeed.

It's P0420/P0430 which are the rear 02's. I have the same 2 codes here with my catted ARH setup. Going to try anti foulers just thought it wouldn't be necessary with cats in the first place...

Sounds about right. I installed some Vibrant J-style ant-foulers and they worked great. When i had the truck tuned, the rear sensors were adjusted out.

I have a 2007 Tundra Crewmax Limited. Yes, installed in Houston by Fastlane. I’m trying to be patient with them but it seems they can’t figure out the problem and I keep going back for the same issue. Every time I go back they tell me they can’t find the issue. Not sure if I would recommend them at this point but will wait and see. My truck is at there shop as we speak, I got the SC installed in August 2020.

Fastlane did a poor job on my tundra exhaust. Fortunately they asked me to leave them a review online (before i inspected their work). After i inspected the work, i was happy to do just that. What tune did they do?

Prospeed in Houston did my tune with HP tuners. Truck runs great for the last year.

Thanks for your input, could you pass along your tune file? I’m having problems getting my truck tuned and would like to compare the files. The problem I’m having is that the file
That came with the Super Charger was not custom tuned and now I’m having misfire when I WOT or go heavy on the foot with it.

I'm not sure how that could be done, but i have other upgrades that may not be compatible with your setup, mainly the 700cc injectors and custom fuel rails. I don't think it would be an apples to apples comparison. Prospeed and HP Tuners would have the file. I dont have it.

Are they not able to replicate the issue, or are they saying they cannot fix it? Do you have a video you can upload so we can see?

Yep I agree, might have to take it to Prospeed. I have other mods on mine as well like 5.29 gear ratio. Fastlane installed the calibration straight onto the truck knowing I had different wheel size gear ratio and now I’m having problems. I was told they could not dyno my truck due to it being to wide. So I’m sure they don’t have an answer to my problem. Disappointed I spent my money there and now I have to go to another performance shop to get the calibration redone along with dyno.
