    Can’t get the hood open. Latch pulls, but doesn’t unlock the hood.
    Now what.

    I know you have pictures, and could explain this better than me.

    @AV8R4AA
    The hood latch thing is discontinued from toyota. There might be an aftermarket replacement, but a junk yard would be your best bet once you've got the hood popped.

    Screwdriver as I recall. It’s been a while.

    When you get it open you need to lubricate the heck out of the cable end or replace it entirely (assuming it’s the cable end giving you issues instead of the latch itself)

    I erased them. Best bet is to find that thread from last year or two ago.

    Had the same thing happen on my last 2003 AC Tundra.
    I ended up having someone hold a pull on the latch inside, then the hood lever, and giving it a pretty good quick 'Yank' up, (not advised if there is a screwdriver method).
    But it worked and I was able to clean and grease the latch.

    Similar to @HBTundra I had to have someone hold the release while picking up the hood. It was stuck just enough to not pop up when the release was pulled.

    Dead stock with oem 16" starfish wheels. We'll see how long that lasts. :) Topper of unknown origin.
