Was a little leary of the install of the 2017 pro grill into my 2019 limited with the AJT relocation bracket for the TSS, but it really wasn't bad.. less then 15 minutes to do the bulge and that was taking my time.. Watched a couple u tube videos and tackled the grill and relo and it was a piece of cake.. Toughest part was unhooking the connections of the TSS sensor.. Did take close to an hour, but that was more me then the project itself.. Everything popped into place and was fastened without a hitch.. Make sure you hook up the TSS connectors before installing the 2017 grill, as it doesn't have the access panel to it like the 2018..

Any pics?!? I was just gonna get the platinum MGM grill to color my my 2019 sr5. In my opinion, the 2018 and up TRD pro grille looks kinda stupid. Much better style on the 2017. I just saw that relocation bracket on AJTs website. I was leery about jacking with the TSS also. How is it working?

Took this pic this morning after I got to work. 21 miles using adaptive cruise the entire way (no traffic) not one problem at all. The AJT bracket worked great and was pretty easy to install. Truck 2.jpg

I'm working but from home and I abhor it. Incredibly hard to do with a 13 month old and a working wife

I’m working from home a couple days a week and don't care for it either, just not as productive and I don’t have any little ones to worry about. Best Wishes, at least we still have paychecks coming in..

Where'd you pick up the MGM 2017 grille? I thought those were crazy backordered right now, or I was going to go that route.

It wasn't available through him when I looked last week so I ended up getting the new style instead. It was really a toss up, but I was kinda leaning towards the older style.

Got em! Unfortunately the garnish I ordered (knockoff aftermarket...) hasn't shipped yet. The guy I ordered from said it should be here by Saturday, so we'll see. Luckily I'm not really going anywhere in the next few weeks...

Don't mind the bug guts on the bumper... it'll get washed someday.

PlastiDip with glossifier. They've actually held up surprisingly well.

What color Plastidip did you use? I think I’m gonna go the cheap route and do the surround and bulge

Anthracite Gray. It's a really close match, but getting the sheen right is a pain in the ass. For the bumpers I didn't care as much, so just using the glossifier worked fine. When I did the bulge and surround, it looked ok but you could definitely see a difference. You could try playing around with metalizer to get some of the flecking.

Right on thx. If it’s close, that’s all
I can ask. I can see a difference in my bumper shellz and original paint anyways. I’m gonna try it

Looks killer. I think your grill and hood bulge look really close to the MGM. You’re hired!! I can pay cash

I think I misunderstood your original question but accidentally answered it lol. The bulge and grille are actually color-matched from Toyota of Cool Springs. I thought you were just asking about my bumper ends, which are dipped anthracite gray. I wish my PD job turned out that good...

I've got some pics from when I had actually dipped everything. Let me see if I can find it.

The bulge and grille were $515 shipped with the free shipping code "SHIPFREE" through @Roman, https://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.com/
I picked up an aftermarket radar garnish for $65 shipped, so about $580 all in.

The 2017 Pro Grill and bulged matched MGM were $450 and free shipping. No garnish needed with AJT relo bracket. I have had a couple TSS failures since I relocated the radar, but both times it was in heavy slushy snow which disabled it prior to the relocation. Otherwise, its worked perfect.
