Ordered this Tac 13 today. Will take delivery this Friday. A very difficult weapon to find likely due to its new release. It will be in good company with the Shockwaves. Will post up pics when I pick it up.

Not allowed to carry, so this might be my only solution to carry in Tundra and hotel room when at work, my BIL has one but with a magazine clip as well

Wow! Didn't realize NC had such a coyote problem.

    Happy hunting.

That gun is going to hurt when fired ! Cool looking, but your firing hand and trigger finger after a few rounds are in hurtville. In LE that gun is a entry gun used to blast open a lock on a door . One shot all its designed for.

Mossberg is finally releasing a "compliant" version of the shockwave for restricted states, but we have to settle on a 18" barrel

Exactly, if I don’t have an absolute kill shot, I just won’t shoot.

You bet, it’s delayed on delivery to my FFL..ohio closed down US postal ops due to freezing temps. Scheduled for delivery tomorrow. It’s all good, those folks in USPS distribution centers bust their butts, they don’t need to be freezing in the process.
So maybe Sat or Monday delivery.

I just checked www.galleryofguns.com. None in stock, but they will notify me when available. That should be a fine weapon.

In LE blasting open a lock on a door:rofl:a no....maybe clearing terrorist safe houses in Iraq’s war zone. In 35 yrs in LE I have never seen a Wild West lock shot off any door hasp. The are other entry tools aka much safer methods

Have you ever shot the Tac 13? Me thinks not, do a bit of research and go to the Remington web page and watch the videos. I can tell you this semiauto firearm has very little/low recoil. And does not “hurt” or hurtville unless naturally your on the wrong end of the barrel. I have shot/cycled numerous rounds through it with #4 buckshot and slugs....a great home defense weapon IMO. One shot....lol, no not by any stretch. It’s will cycle as fast as you can engage your target pull the trigger.

here- a decent local NC in depth review.

I have a full length Mavric 12ga for trap and skeet shooting. I also have a DP12 thats allot of fun to just cycle off 16 rounds as fast ad you can. It was pricey but its Too much fun to shoot. I love these specialty style boomSticks.

She's a bit heavy, But recoil is very light with the recoil pad and springs in the butstock. Last time I went to the range everyone wanted to have a look. Im not an attention whore but its cool to use to it meet chicks... haha j/k. I let 2 women shoot it last time at the range.

If you can pick one up used is ok. I saw a torture test of the gun. They don't even recommend a full tear down for some absurd number of rounds. Its super reliable and would be my goto home defense weapon. I sold my older Mossberg Persuader to help me purchase this. I unfortunately paid retail on it.
