before I bought my '13 Tundra I towed my 24' TT with my '05 4Runner. When I bought the trailer I had the dealership set up the WDH it came with. Now, in measuring the distance of the receivers on both rigs from the ground I find that the Tundra is only 1/2" higher. Does anyone out there know whether this is a significant difference?

does not matter, you should set up the WDH for the truck and load vs always using the original setup. That is the whole point of using the WDH. You adjust it based on the truck, trailer and load for best performance and flatter towing.

What WDH do you have? uncoupled and level the ball should sit about 1.5 to 2.0 inches higher, starting the setup process. Follow the directions that came with your hitch.
