A deer ran into me last night going around 40mph. Minor mark on my front bumper. I have not made it to a body shop yet, but imagine the bumper can be repaired? Any advice is appreciated.

That totally sucks, I hit one last fall after returning from an annual hunting trip in Montana and it did significantly more damage.

Not to make light of it but was this the deer?

I’d think it would need to be replaced, unless they repair it with Bondo.

Good opportunity to upgrade to a real steel bumper and have something that will actually protect the truck. The bumper on my new tundra is a joke. I think its actually plastic. I like the Tundra but the bumper is a joke. Totally useless as a bumper.

Not sure if it would cover up everything, but if that's the only damage look into the ecoological bumper covers. You can get color matched to the body and they slip right over the chrome bumper caps. Not sure if they are open to the public yet, but there was just a group buy that ended recently. I scored a set of white covers for the front. Shoot a PM to @EC1 if you're interested.
