When you say you make "big ass lures" as a hobby are we talking swimbaits? Or more along the lines of flys?
    Great choice in trucks btw

Talking big cranks (9-14 inches), big walk the dog lures (6-15 inches) and big top water lures (usually 8 inches). Most of my lures are 4-14 ounces. So I often throw lures bigger than the fish people are catching. But big fish eat big lures. And it’s just fun to throw huge stuff I’ve whittled, sanded, and sanded, sanded, weighted, painted, and casted. EA121D6C-0242-498B-8286-7B4C31A52787.jpg

I like making some weirder lures too..Zombie Carp has landed a few fish over 15lbs. This lure is 7.25 inches in length (it’s a jig)

Dang that's an awesome hobby. I loose alot of lures so I would stay busy for sure. And oh ya I fish as much as possible just left the ocean for lingcod and rockfish 2 weeks ago and salmon just opened up. There not biting yet but I'm still trying. But mainly we have a bunch of lakes and I take the boat out as much as possible or even just the kayaks after work.

Those are some monsters tho and even cooler if your using your own lures

None at all. Took off the small front air flap, and chopped the mud flaps. Full lock clears. Wasn’t going to lift but now it appears like I most likely will. Lot of adventuring and I realize the shocks aren’t necessarily for lifting but general use out in the wild.

New front bumper on. Love it. Opted to purchase fog light harnesses as I decided not to cut my factory’s off. Light bar installing tomorrow. Coming together. 98AE697E-BC6D-404D-A404-1FA15B53565D.jpg

Looks great! how much lift did your Toytec AAL give you? did you get the Toytec single leaf? Website says 1-1.5"-- trying to see real world lift characteristics.

I like them..driver side sees the most action and I have duct taped the rear. They didn’t make it a year. But I’m super hard on my truck, and put a lot of miles on. I am happy with them though. I love the way they feel. I don’t like leather in vehicles much in Colorado. We have leather in our 4Runner and I prefer mine.
