In my 07 I had plenty of hiding spots for small personal items. Does my 14 CM have hiding spots that are so good i'm unable to find them?

What are you trying to hide? LSD...mushrooms?
Just peel back plastic trims...these new trims are flimsy as fuck compared to older vehicles.
Or are you talking about like the back door pockets? Some genius decided nobody needed those anymore in the new models.

I miss that little flip lid thing the gen 2’s have in the doors. And the little cover you could remove by the cup holders. And you could remove the cup holders. Had more overhead compartments also.

I'd rather not say on an open forum

My 07 had the little compartment to the right of the shifter, granted it was intended for storage use but it was descrite and nobody ever peaked in there and even if someone did it had another recessed compartment within that compartment which was really the best spot.

Which plastic trims are you referring to? I haven't noticed any. Its gotta be somewhat easily accessible.

Well, if you're in CA, no need to hide from cops; nobody cares. If you want it accessible to you but not visible through windows to thieves you could toss it in the console, under a seat, even in the dash glove compartment. If you don't want to use these places because you want it hidden from your partner, you could get a seemingly innocuous hiding place, like one of these:

    https://www.google.com/search?q=false+compartment+soda+cans&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari

... but anyone can smell that stuff, so... probably no good hiding place unless you put it in something airtight.

No thread lock. Not illegal in CA. Or in CO, where the mods hang out.

Yep. Personally, out here cops really don’t care about it. It’s petty and the big drugs are the issues. I don’t partake in any of that, but to each their own. The hard narcotics is what drives more crime, health, and can tear your life apart from everything I’ve seen. The marijuana taxes help repair our roads, and even build schools as ironic as that is.

Yeah its just a little bit for personal use and its such low potency it barely has odor. I just prefer to have it where it isn't accidentally found.
