Hi, I just got a 2016 Doublecab Tundra. I owned a few older toyota trucks over the last 20 years, then a Jeep JK most recently.

I wanted a tacoma, but my family didnt fit all that well in it, so we ended up with a Tundra, and I must say it is a very nice truck, and despite its size it does feel like a descendant of my Toyotas from the past, which I cant really explain. The steering jand ride just has the toyota feel. I am starting to like it very much, and the gas mileage isnt as bad as i thought. I am averaging 15l / 100km.

The truck I got was a SR5 Doublecab, which the original owner had upgraded with the Bilstein TRD suspension, (same as the pro I think? ), some sidesteps Im not all that fond of, some flares Im undecided on, and window rain things.

I have a bit more research to do, but id like to lift it another inch without affecting the very nice ride, and install some more agressive 275/70 or 285/70 tires. I also hope to build a front bumper, possibly rear as well, and build a canoe rack for the bed.

The truck will see a fair amount of forest roads, firewood hauling, as well as general truck stuff.

Once I get rolling ill post a little build thread. See below for some pics of my past yotas.

Here is my last truck, a 96 T100. I was building a flatdeck and putting a bodylift on it here. I really miss this one. I wish i had more pictures of it.
