Hi, brand new to Toyota and Tundra! So happy

    So this is my second pickup truck but first Toyota. Was originally shopping for a Taco to replace my Nissan frontier but the Tundra's caught my eye.

    It wasn't an easy decision. I loved the look of the TRD Pro in MGM but I really wanted more creature comforts (dual zone climate, moonroof, BSM and Sonar) so I ended up with a limited crewmax in MGM with TRD OR package that I'm modding to more resemble (but not completely copy) a TRD PRO.

    The first thing to go was the grille. Wayyy too much chrome. Got a pro grill with matching surround.

    Tires were next. Dumped the Michelins and had some BFG KO2's put on.

    Installed ICI Magnum side steps today.

    I have color matching mirror caps and black door handles coming tomorrow (thanks Roman!).

    I do think I'm leaving the front bumper ends chrome, though. They look bad ass.

    The faux wood trim inside is also going and getting replaced with silver.

    Later this week I have an ESP under rear seat storage going in as well as a Revolver X2 Tonneau Cover.

    I've read the complaints about the JBL premium audio quality but I LOVE mine. I think it rocks.

    And as far as the MPG are concerned, I'm getting 18-19 on the highway, with cruise control set at about 60. Not bad at all, and actually just as good as my frontier ever was with 4.0 V6.

    All in all, I'm a very happy camper.

    Welcome to the site. Sounds like you're off and running with the mods already! I too came over from a Nissan Frontier and while it treated me nicely, I am nothing but happy to have switched over to my Tundra.
