Hey guys I’m having to crank my truck two times every time the first time it dies then the second time it stays running I put a code reader on it and it says maf sensor, will that keep it from cranking up

The sensor could be part of the problem but I don't think it's all of it. Start by replacing the MAF sensor and pulling the battery cable for a few minutes to reset everything. Then see if the problem comes back and run the OBD again.

If you wanted to try one more thing before replacing the MAF sensor you could pull your airbox open and clean the sensor first to see if that will help. I'd also clean the throttle body at the same time since you'll be in there. If this doesn't work then replace the sensor. If that doesn't work then maybe it will be giving you new codes to work with.

Replace the sensor and reset and see if that helps. Is there only 1 code coming up on the OBD?

Up stream or down? Usually can't correct those by cleaning. Did you possibly had bad fuel?

If you replace the MAF make sure and get a Hitachi MAF from a reputable source. That's the OE supplier for that part.

It’s pulling up all of the o2 sensors, but surely that would not keep it from starting on the first try would it, it always starts on the second try and stays running
