Most likely going to look at this tm
Basically my price point. Not looking for a DD but will be used
Claims CA truck with no rust
On its 3rd belt and pump, tensioner, etc done last summer new brakes
Don’t want to spend this money on a gmc Etc with less miles but rust and other issues
Slightly weary of mileage but clearly they can go plenty more
Good price for the truck if checks out sound?
will be looking at the frame and fluids
    What else is a must?

The truck (2WD) and price (3500) and miles (291k) don't bother me, as long as he has records to back up all those maintenance claims. What does bother me is this truck is in Maine. Check the frame for rust VERY VERY carefully - rust is the primary killer of these trucks, and the NE is the murder-capital of Tundras...

Let us know how you proceed. And welcome.

I'd buy it if the frame is in good shape and the test drive goes well.

If the bed cover is actually what appears to be a RollNLock a brand new one runs about $1300.

Given the timing belt changes on time with the mileage, it seems it should be well taken care of maintenance wise.

Good to hear it checked out. Welcome to the tundra community. Lots of helpful people here that know Toyotas.

I was born and raised in Maine. Going back to visit in July
