A nice gentleman is offering up his 2018 OEM (factory installed) trifold tonneau cover with rail system and tie downs.

Any thoughts? He’s Asking $500 for a $1200 MSRP from Toyota. It was on his truck for 2 years, garage kept, and only getting rid of it because he just upgraded to a cab.

It was on his 2018 Tundra Crewmax 5 1/2 ft bed. Wondering if it will fit my 2021 CrewMax 5 1/2. My guess is yes... right?

I also have a factory spray on Bedliner with a naked bed. No rails, no tie downs, etc.

Does anyone have a good link to video or instructions on how to install the “OEM” tonneau?

I understand Toyota doesn’t really have OEM but they put their brand on Gators and other brands depending on the year, so anything that’s a “close match” will be appreciated.

Im a little nervous drilling into my beautiful 2021 (spray on) bed/truck.

    photos for reference.

    Picking up Wednesday morning...

Can you get to the pre-drilled holes where the rails would connect? There is no drilling involved in the installation at all. Those silver brackets connect to the pre-drilled holes which is the channel for water and what the cover connects with. There is a post right above this one asking questions about the same cover. Check the bottom of that thread.

Yes! I was able to hammer-tap in a sewing needle to locate the threaded receiving/female-end hole for the bolt.

I slowly cut out the spray-on With an exacto knife and located all of the bolt holes.

I’ve done a ton of research and feel comfortable moving forward.

I did acquire the used OEM Toyota Tonneau and will post a new thread on my journey for future reference.

    thanks for the help!
