Hello all, I wired up my new HU and it ran fine for about two weeks but since Sunday evening won't power. I performed a bench test and the unit powers on fine. I rewired again and it won't tur7<n on. I've isolated the issue to the yellow and red wires. Red being constant and yellow ACC. If I put the yellow and red together, the unit powers up but if I wire yellow to yellow and red to red, no dice. Someone smarter than me, can you help?

I just tried a different harness and having same issue. Only powers when red and orange are joined. Could this be a HU malfunction?

Sounds like your Yellow wire is not getting power, have you checked your fuses?

I would put a Voltmeter on the Yellow with the truck on and see if you are getting 12+ volts.

I'd also bet there's a blown fuse. Check the panel near the driver's side kick panel as well as under the hood by the battery.

    And also... FORKS UP!

Yellow is constant and red is acc.

Yellow should read around 12+ volts while off or on.

Red should read 12+ only while the key is on acc or the truck is running.

Haha....thanks for the info man. Haven't had a chance to troubleshoot but I'm willing g to put money that it's a blown fuse. I hadn't thought about that until after several guys on this thread mentioned it.

I appreciate the help fellas. The accessory fuse, a 7.5 amp in the fuse box by the emergency park brake was the issue. By the way, that thing was a PITA to get out. All is working great and my system is now fully installed. Now just have to tune it.
