    - i got a double cab truck. currently i have a kicker comp c 10" (yanno the slanted one in the box package deal at best buy.with its paired amp sitting under my pass seat, Kicker behind my seat takes up some but not hella. heck, even the cupholfers pop out fine.it is that it IS ported. now on my silverado i had a custom made underseat box that was quite large BUT NOT PORTED. thing pounded. that had a shallow mount Kicker VT. - the baseses seemed lower. punchies punchier. better for what i like. SORRY HERES THE QUESTION: so i hate taking up the room. i i COULD live with it(where i sit rhe box sit flush in the rear with the console(who likes riding there anyways!), or i COULD mount my old 10" shallow mount in a box the size of a captain crunch box - the box would be stupid small. how bad would that sound ? or would it sound better? should i port a box that small?
