    So, here's the deal.

    Year end bonuses are coming, and I can't decide if I want to be responsible and pay off the Tundra, be irresponsible and buy a project truck, or a combination of the two.

    Let's talk about the irresponsible choice;
    I'm leaning towards a Toyota, preferably a 2nd Gen taco, except they're pretty much all out of my price range. I've found one locally, but it's beat to hell and would likely need motor/tranny shortly. https://spokane.craigslist.org/cto/d/kendrick-2006-toyota-tacoma-trd-off-road/6993713792.html

    I'm thinking I'm going to go all-out and do a LT setup on whatever I decide to get, which would likely rule out a 4runner, but I'm not opposed to a MT 4R. I want something that I can build at a reasonable pace and enjoy it as I go.

    Toyota Pickup, 1st Gen Taco, Tundra, 4R? Any thoughts and ideas? Not necessarily opposed to a motor/tranny swap, but would prefer to keep it relatively simple. No 1JZ swaps into a 90's taco, as much as I would love to....

    Definitely not opposed to a 1st gen Tundra, they're just not real prevalent in my area. Taco's are much more popular, but everybody has turned them into straight-axle wheelers
