I’ve been here for a few weeks now and lovin the new Tundra so much, I’m spending money on it.
When I bought it, it was the last 18 on the lot and to save money I got it.
It is black, (love black but not my first choice, I rather have the metallic gray) and it is a 1794, that’s a plus, RWD only, I can live with that, but, there are a few things I like to change.
Too much chrome. Especially the wheels.
I don’t think this truck will be a rock crawler or mud slinger, maybe one day (after I get over the sticker price and I wear some new off of it) maybe some minor off road venture.
Right now I’m really enjoying the luxury interior, ride, handling and smoothness which I would like to maintain.
So, with all this being said, I do want to change the wheels to something NON-CHROME but not black.
Keep the ride smooth and quiet but tougher looking.
A wider stance, but nothing radical. I think the stock wheels are too far inset.

    Questions
How far offset are the original (if anyone knows) and how far can I go and still look semi stock but better?
Should I stay with the 275/55R20 or change?
What color? Brushed alum, dark gray, multi color?

What do y’all think? Suggestions and comment needed.

    Umm, chrome

Thanks for the welcome, I've been around a few weeks now.

Yeah those chrome stocks gotta go. Looks like those plastic chrome hub caps. Your stocks are +60 offset. With your fender flares you probably want about a +25.

+25 offset is the best IMO

No go with 18s. That is what I wanted but chose tires over wheel size

It’s personal preference honestly and what you will use the truck for.. I put 17” cause I like a lot of sidewall for when I’m on a trail,
    But to each is own:thumbsup:

No, that’s the TRD Off Road wheel. Google TRD PRO wheel and you will see what I am talking about.

That is the TRD Pro wheel for 4runners, this is the TRD Pro wheel for Tundras. It's actually the same wheel as the one you posted, only it's all black instead of having machined spokes.
