    Hey Guys..

I am getting ready to pull the trigger on some lights. 2 in particular.

1.) Alpha Rex Pro with changeable h-7 low beam so i can put in my sv4 led in there. Pro is a projector style low beam.

2.) Or this other version that is a reflector of the same type of housing. I think it may even be an alpha rex. The Reflector has sealed led 6,000k bulbs.

Anyone have experience with the reflector one or know anything about it ?
I am currently running sv4 h11 in my low beam stock housing with cougar motorsports 9005 led high beam. This current stock setup is bright as day, but i really want the look of the updated housings with sequential turn signals.

I am not looking to pay $600 - $1,200 for the Morimoto or Nova so they are not included in the poll.

So i was able to find some information yesterday the reflector housing is also an Alpha rex but they do not list it on their site. Strange.

AlphaRex confirmed on the phone yesterday they have released a new generation of the PRO these all have the activation sequence and the sequential turn signal that the nova have. They still come with the halogen low beam h-7 but have tested many Led upgrade bulbs that fit with no modifications to the dust cover. The high beam is a sealed unit where the led chip is soldered on the board it is 10k lum 6k color and has a life span the same as the luxx 3-5 years. So yes in 3-5 years they will be throw away units the same as the Nova's. Alpha said if you buy them direct from them the 2 year warranty will extent to they will mail you a replacement before you send the bad unit in. They stated that if you buy them from a distributor then you will likely have to mail the defective one in before you will be mailed a replacement, It is dependent on the 3rd party warranty agreement.

@Rockin 2nd Gen you're saying that AlphaRex expects their customers to replace the entire headlight assy. every 3-5 years? I like their product, but I have never, ever had to replace the entire headlight assy. in any car I've owned - and that's more than a few. There's no way I would buy into that program.

But that's the case with all the sealed headlight units on the market... this is not new to AlphaRex.

Stock one is throw away too when they burn out. All new LED is right on the circuit board. Not changeable like old days.

projectors always the best. I really like my Morimotos but reflectors and 100% led with 5 year warranty.
they will ship you a replacement set for a deposit in case yours have issues so you are not down- with no lights.
Really wish Morimotos release a projector set for the gen2s.

This picture itself is misleading, the tundra in the back with the white DRL's is actually the Morimoto headlights. It looks like a screenshot from a youtube video on the morimoto headlights. The white LED DRL's shine very bright like that picture.

The Alpharex headlights have very dim white DRL's. But they are very good headlights as well.

Finally got the Alpharex pro and installed them. Ive had them in and out 20 times while adjusting them now i am getting hyper flash on passenger side drl for sequential turn signal. I am going to guess a loose connection because it was fine the first few times. Driver side flashes normal.

You don’t have to remove them to adjust the lights... a long screw diver will engage the dial from the top..kinda late now..

AF14F3AA-181E-404C-BCC5-4CE7F12681FF.jpg I just made the choice finally tonight!

Currently just have OEM bulbs in OEM housing for low beams. Any suggestions for upgrades there while I wait for parts?
