Help (Fixed ... Thanks for the Help)

Hey all,

Last night I replaced my stock mirrors with towing mirrors and everything went well. However, today I cannot unlock the passenger door. It worked when I checked it last night but now the lock won't do anything. I'm guessing that I must not have reattached one of the cables properly.

So here's where I'm stuck: how do I get I the panel off if I can't open the door? I'm feeling like a real dumbass right now.

And for clarity I have a 2014 CM. Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

 

All doors locked cant get in???

 

Use your key open driver door open pass door from inside???

 

That's the thing. I can unlock all of the doors except the passenger.

 

Even if ya manually flip door lock?

 

Disconnect batt cables???

 

Have a lock-smith jimmy the door. Just make sure you don't relook, until you've resolved the problem.

 

@aramirez73 your idea gave me an idea to try locking and unlocking the door with the key. The first few times didn't do anything, but after the fourth I was able to open the passenger door from the outside. I was able to get it home and get the door panel off and found that there was a slight bend in the one lock cable. It wasn't a huge bend, but definitely enough to throw off the action (sorry I'm not a mechanic so I'm using my terms).

Anyway, lesson learned. Thanks to you and @bobeast for taking time on a Saturday night to help me get unstuck. You all rock!
