Looking forward to meeting some of you. Im a long time toyota owner but this is my first Tundra. I traded in my 2015 tacoma 4x4 dcsb with 3inch ome lift and 33s for my new 2017 sr5 4x4 cm. Needed more room for my 3 kids and wife. I have 3k miles on it so far and love it. I have tinted the windows and added a bed cover and seat covers but that is about it. I will soon be lifting it and putting some all terrain tires on it with maybe some black xd wheels. I have lifted several toyota pickups and tacomas but never a tundra and always done leveling kits or 3inches max. This time i wanna do a 5 or 6 db lift. Been researching like crazy trying to decide whats best. I dont do alot of offroading anymore but do live pretty far out and fight snow in the winter and i hunt alot so a 4x4 is needed. Want to keep my stock angles and geometry as close to stock as possible this time through. So im heading toward a db lift. Plus i think they look good. :)
Thanks for the add and reading this post. Some of my ex rides are posted below. An i have a love for harleys motorcycles. I have a 2016 dyna street bob at the moment that keeps me busy during free time as well. I do industrail hvac for a living and enjoy spending time with my wife and 3 little girls.

I posted some pics of them. Forgot to mention before i bought the tacoma i had a 2013 FJ with a stage 2 icon lift. Sure wish i had that one back. But the Tundra is gonna be the last one for a while. Will see if i can dig some pics of my old fj up too. It had 33s and 17inch black xd wheels. White in color.

My 2013 fj before i installed the lift and 33s. Actually sold it to buy the 2015 tacoma. Got a good offer on it one day and let it go. Aas one of my all time favorite vehicles though hands down.

I have traded and sold a bunch of vehicles over the last several years. An still havent lost my butt yet. Thanks to toyotas resale value and trade in. Which is why i stick by toyota. However a tundra has always been my dream truck. Just couldnt justify it untill i had my 3 little girl and then i knew i needed more room and the tundra fit the bill.

oh yeah? I'm in Memphis....although from what I hear, the rest of TN doesn't count Memphis as part of the state LOL!

Passed through your neck of woods a few months back after a trip to and from Baltimore....Beautiful country you guys have out there!

My boss came from Memphis. He said he was ready to get out of the city and he says he enjoys living here in the country. He still locks his truck everywhere he goes ha.. Im a small town/country guy myself. I have been through Memphis but never stopped. I would like to ride down and see the new bass pro shop they built there. Some of my buddys say it is sweet.

Ongoing battle for the best color. White vs MGM. Whites wining by a large margin; he's just trying to catch up LOL.

I hail from the country outside of Baton Rouge, La. I MUCH prefer the country than the city. And much to my chagrin, we live in MIDTOWN. Buildings everywhere.....cement everywhere.....at least I can drive for 30 mins and be in the country....that's how I stay sane every weekend LOL

Helluva lot better than Baltimore...HATED that cement playground!!

Can't blame him there, after living in the city for a few years I started locking mine all the time as well.

I hear that. Where i live must of us pack guns in our trucks but only to hunt with. Ha. An you better not mess with peoples stuff because people here will shoot you for stealing an ask for forgiveness later. I hate a thief and dont want my kids to grow up in a big city around that mess. Its bad enough in the country. I hate it for the good people living in big citys with all the crazyness that goes on anymore. Im a god fearing family man. Treat others as you wish to be treated. Work hard for a doller and be honest.

Had a good friend in high school years ago that was from Baton Rouge he talked funny as all get out compared us hillbillys. One heck of a football player though. Yall must put something strong in the water down there. He rung my bell several times on the old practice field. But i never told him that. Ha

I have to say had i not gotten they magnetic grey i was dead set on a white one as my second choice. Ha it was a pro though and i went with my grey sr5 because i already knew i would be changing out the suspension and wheels and tires eventually anyway. The pro is one sweey ride though. Only thing i didnt really like about it was the leather interior and the brown mixed in with the dark black inside.

MGM was my second choice followed by Royal Blue. After seeing so many stormtrooper Tacos, just knew I would go white from my black Taco. Just looks so much bigger . . . and that counts for something, right guys? ;)
