Hello everyone and thank you, Bob, for the welcome and helpful hints!

I have been looking over this site for a while and would like to be part of it. I have only owned one Toyota vehicle in my entire life and it is this 2015 Inferno color DC Pro. Always heard great stories about Toyota reliability so when my last truck, a Nissan Titan, reached its 10 yr. mark I switched.

I really like this truck...best riding vehicle, period, that I have ever had the pleasure of owning and it's practical too! I was not prepared for how well a truck could feel and handle. Especially a 4x4. My Titan was a 4x2 and I was happy with that, as a comparison.

I chose this model truck because I like the color, and I like a purpose-built truck that had great reviews about its suspension. Having had sports cars, I appreciate this.

In the past I have kept all my trucks stock and purchased this Tundra with this in mind, which is a big reason why I went with the Pro. That said, I am being tempted with all the great posts and pictures of what others have done to theirs. I have always used my trucks as a means to an end like as a toy hauler, towing an enclosed work trailer, going to the big box stores to buy supplies for repairs, as opposed to modding it.

My hobby was autocross but I was away from it for a few years. I will begin autocrossing again next week as a co-driver for a friend as his tire warmer, and suspect I will tow for him sometimes. I am looking forward to some fun and speed again!

Looking forward to reading and participating in the discussions. Thank you for reading.

Thanks, I notice Tundra trucks on the road more since I bought this one and I've noticed they all look beautiful. Funny how it takes owning a vehicle before you spot them seemingly everywhere. One thing I noticed is there are very few Tundra owners that don't keep their trucks looking new.

    Thank you dandailey, much appreciated!
Thank you, I am partial to the Inferno Pro as I can see you are too!

    Thank you sir!

Thank you csuviper, I am happy to be here!

    ToyotaTundraMike...Thanks!

zcarpenter92..Thank you, I wash it a lot. I love the other colors too but this one made me do a U turn.

Won't be the first time...I'm already pouring over tire options.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. I hope to get to know everyone better and quoting you all is my way of remembering your names.

Yeah I never realized how many trucks were on the road until I got my first truck. Especially them damn F150's because I had one. But the Tundra is definitely the purtiest one out there.

Agreed joonbug! All Tundra colors stand out in a good way.

    Thank you Matluth,

Reliability is first and foremost for me. That said The Pro line came along at a good time for me as I was considering a new truck. I hope Toyota continues to offer the Pro for many years. I like how some colors are retired and others offered each year. Keeps us guessing and hopeful.

Sooner or later as our Tundra brethren or defectors from other brands need to update their trucks they may find one to their liking too.

    Good to see you too!

    Thank you Chphil,
    Nice to be here.

    Thank you Blue Steel,

Suffolk is large and a lot to do there. Love buying the 25# box of Peanuts in Wakefield when I drive through...very fresh and inexpensive, eating at the Smithfield inn and buying Virginia hams to name a few.

I was introduced years ago to bbq'ing a whole pig in Suffolk. That led to me making two bbq's from 275 gallon oil tanks so I could do our own for neighbors and friends. Nothing like a whole pig done over hardwood coals and having a proper pig pickin'. Whole turkeys done this way are good too.

Someday I plan to do a road trip to try all the pork bbq's that are in other parts of the country like Texas and Mempis. I would love to compare.

Doing it this big was a phase I went through..it lasted about 7 or so years and the neighbors were very happy. I have a hard time doing anything in a small way.

We held this pig cooking on memorial weekends and the last one had 125 adults attending. Then I moved on to other fun hobbies.

I do enjoy the going to local pig roasts like Camp Pendleton's YSC Pig and oyster event which is coming up at the end of April and another good pig and oyster roast held at Back Bay later in the year. I would recommend both if you haven't tried them.

Thanx for the info on the pig roast, will check into them. Next month will be time for fish fries at my house. I fry a ton of crappie caught in the lake I live on, not much better than fresh fish an cold beer.

    Rons23,
    I love the outer banks!

When I had my own business I had three customers who had us regularly do work on their rentals each fall. They were all in Duck NC off of Rt 12, just pass Scarborough shops, turn right at twiddy realty. Almost to the end, one block from the water. They all knew each other and were mechanical engineers.

Outer banks has a layed back lifestyle for sure. When the Blues were running no contractor could be found until the run was over. Did a little work last year at Kitty hawk and ate at Sam & Omie's, one of our favorites.

Outer banks is still a slice of paradise!

    Sounds like a plan FirstGenTundra,

    Give me a heads up.

...and where did you misplace your truck?lol

Cool beans driverdog. Yeah I stay clear of Duck during the season. I wouldn't change a thing, its a great place to live and if you like to fish like me your in kingdom. If and when you head down give me a shout will knock back a few cold ones. Hurricane Mo's. Has a great happy hour, 10cent shrimp and 25 cent wing and possibly the best she crab soup ever. This also applies to all my fellow Tundra brothers, if your headed my way

Lol, I can see how that's a confusing statement. I sold my first gen to my dad, now I'm on the hunt for a third gen. Wish I could afford a PRO but will settle for a TRD off road.

I knew it was something like that. I bet your dad is very happy! I sold vehicles to my dad too.

The important thing is to get into another Tundra! Toyota makes a great truck period , with or without the Pro add on's!

Yes, he loves it! Best truck he's ever owned by his own admission. I had it for over ten years and she served me faithfully. I won't buy anything else... Except maybe a Tacoma.
