Hello from upstate NY

Hey everyone. I've owned a Tundra for about 7 years now and just paid it off. So instead of putting myself back in the hole with a new one, I've decided to take my old truck payments and do some upgrades as I go. I've checked the forums here and there for advice or to see how mods turn out, but never posted. Truck just hit 70k miles so it's got a lot of life left in it. I just did a full service on the running gear front to back as the first mod. I've since swapped to black badges, did the fog light mod from these forums, replaced the head unit, and I just finished swapping over to Morimoto Head/Tail/3rd brake lights.

For future mods, I'm planning to delete the rest of the chrome, change the running boards, grille, rims and tires, and a leveling kit. Here's some pics of where I'm at so far.

I had a work truck to drive for most of the time I've owned this. I've only put 40k miles on it over 7 years

Welcome aboard from NW Oregon! Good looking truck and that is a great year! 2 mods for considering are the “rear seatback fold down” mod and adding the grab handle to the driver side A pillar.

 

Welcome from OKC! Smart decision! I'd suggest you fluid film the frame and keep it from getting rusty before you start throwing money at it. Then rodent proof the HVAC fresh air intake under the windshield cowling, 1/4" hardware cloth or gutter guard works well. Good luck!
