Hello, new to the group. Bought my 2012 Tundra in May. Had a vibration in the steering wheel when I test drove it and got it up around 55 on the freeway. Made sure I had the dealership put into my contract that they would fix the vibration as a condition of the sale. I'm so glad I did! Here we are 4 months later and they still haven't figured it out. They started with a balance, and alignment. Got a little better but would shake when breaking. Then they replaced the rotors and calipers. Got a bit better for awhile, but it would still shake. Especially when the vehicle was cold. Then they replaced the rims and tires. The truck had 20" after market rims. They replaced with a different set of 20" rims. That made the vibration worse. Checked to make sure the new rims didnt need hub centric rings. They didn't. So they replaced the rack and pinion. That didnt fix it either. They've had the truck for the past 3 weeks, and I'm stuck driving a loaner. Miss the truck, but I want them to get it right. Any thoughts on what the problem might be?

Welcome from Huntersville! I think I would be taking it somewhere for a second option if they haven’t figured it out yet!

Well they replaced the driver side hub which they thought the vibration was coming from and that didnt fix it, so they are finally sending it out to a better equipped tire shop that I believe has the ability to do a road force balance. We will see if that does the trick.
