    Hi all,

I am a pretty good mechanic with good set of tools.

Just bought a toyota 2001 tundra 2wd with no heater because previous owner said it was leaking coolant so he had it bypassed.

He has the heater core new and it came with truck.

How hard is it to install this? Is there anyway I can do it without discharging my ac? I don't mind cutting into stuff or doing some kind of hacking in order to not have to deal with an AC headache.

    Thanks

Dash removal time. I just did a cab swap on a 2003 and the dash is not terrible to remove. But if I remember correct, the A/C piece inside the truck did have to come out before the section with the heater core.
