Looking for ideas as I'm pulling the trigger for lights. Willing to pay 400-450 for both sets. Maybe thinking about yellow fogs. Thanks for any info.

Welcome! So you're trying to do both sets (4 lights) for $400-450 total? I think you need to pick one or the other with that budget. I just installed Baja Design SAE fogs and love them but they are about $400. I'm planning to upgrade to the 2018+ OEM LED headlights but those will run about $650 for both lights and the harness.

I'm researching the same as the OP. My plan is to essentially mirror what you're doing but I'm also considering OEM fogs vs the SAE Baja's. Do you feel the extra $$ for Baja's is worth it over OEM's? Also, in the group buy thread, there was talk of the SAE lights outputting too much light and potentially blinding oncoming traffic. Do you happen to know if that issue has been resolved?

Hard to say since I’ve only had the stock halogen fogs and the Baja Design SAE. Based on the pictures Baja Design uses for their marketing, I would say it is worth is to go Baja Design if your goal is maximum light while still being street legal.
Regarding the change in design, I waited until that was all sorted out before I ordered. My understanding is they are now using a different cutoff and filter to achieve the SAE standard. The light output is great and I have not been flashed but they are quite bright and spill lots of useable light to the sides.

The BAJAs are nice fogs, but if OP is looking to save a little $$ on the fogs and spend more on headlights, the new Diode Dynamics are getting good reviews. But like mentioned above, save a little more to up the total you want to spend to get the best of both

Would love the new OEM, but I'm not trying pay 1k for heads and fogs even though I have the money. I have heard good things about diode dynamics and headlight revolution. Just wondering if anyone else has used them. Thanks for the responses.
