@Beardedbeast, are you planning on opening them up to do work or installing hid kit? Just curious, I'm looking for a change from my retrofit to the new Spyders. Tundra looks awesome!

I have the morimoto hid kit in them now but yes I’m going to open them up and change the projectors to the retro quick acme super version kit and switch backs in the u bar, also going to color match the inside to match the truck!

I'll have my headlights retrofitted with Mini H1's in the next 2 to 3 weeks depending on how much free time I get. I'll post up when I am done, trying to make them look as factory as possible.

How is the light output after putting HID's in them?

Surprisingly good but there is always room for improvement which is why I’m going with a projector Thad is made for hid’s instead of halogens!

Yeah they are cool but I’d rather spend $500 on lights and retrofit parts and still have money for some bd wide cornering dogs and then some!

The Sequoia lights are cool just way out of my price range.

I'm planning a retrofit my self. All I know so far is blacking them out and this TRD on the reflector. Nothing crazy. Just a HID kit from TRS.

I have a set of 2nd gen tundra 1st run u-bar spiders that I took off because of light output, either selling them or retro fit them. Watching this thread

Right now I am retrofitting my dad's 2000 Tundra with Mini H1 7.0's. They are super easy to do if you don't mind a small gap from the projector shroud exposing the back of the projector hardware (hard to see unless your eye is just mashed up against the headlight)

Sure thing. This is what I plan on them looking like once I am done with my dads 2000:

And this is hopefully what my 2007 Tundra will look like (photos borrowed from 808dakine's thread):

Anybody know how much it would be for the whole unit for the Sequoia? From lights to harness and etc.

Like already retrofitted or all the parts and you do it yourself?

If you’re asking about the 18’ sequoia headlights it’s anywhere from $1700-$2000 for lights, harness and filler panels.

Just noticed you're a 2nd gen, so those won't fit my truck, but I did come across these that I think I'll be ordering very soon.

Got a pair of limited headlights with the motor for 80 bucks and retrofitted them. 2nd retrofit project for myself. Other set was for my tacoma. Dont mind the shitty rattled grill that is now replaced with a satoshi type grill painted the right way. And I put these tail lights in. Happy with the stock looking tinted tails, really went well with my dark blue.
