While looking at linking two Honda 2000 watt genny's together for a car hauler/living qrtrs trailer with a 13.5 BTU A/C... I stumbled across this little dual fuel gem. I have never seen or heard of it before and it sounds too good to be true at only 98 lbs dry weight.

Anyone have any first hand experience with this unit???

I'm a huge Honda fan, but that WH looks pretty damn nice. The LED panel with the information could be useful if it's accurate. The price is nice too. I bought a Honda EB3000c years ago for more that the cost of the WH, and the WH has a lot more features and more output.

No experience with this model. I'm running two EU2000's (Honda fan boy).

100 lb dry. Add another 3-4 gal of gas you are up to 120-130. That is something to think about. Lifting that into a truck bed or something could be a two person job depending on who it is (wife?). That was one of the reasons we went with the Honda's. The EU's are ~50 lb each so same total weight but split up for lifting.

Regardless of brand - fuel is your biggest problem for storage. Random use ends up with the carb getting all plugged up with lacquer and crap. Being dual fuel means it has a gas valve. Be sure to run it dry to keep the carb from gumming up.

Did not spend a lot of time reading at the link but I'm not seeing anything about noise volume either. The Honda's are QUIET on eco mode. That is one complaint about other gen's is that some of them sound like a straight pipe Harley next to the camper. Makes it kinda' tough to sleep well or not have the neighbors complain if running at night or even during the day. Read up on that...........

EDIT....just saw this. "as low as 52 dBA". That is pretty good. NOT in the Harley range.
