I hate sleeping on the ground but sometimes I hunt out where there are so few trees, so I gave my students a project. Yeah, they may hate high school, but they love my class. Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, and just overall how to fix shit.

I was thinking of something off the receiver hitch, but they took this idea from the internet. Might have to shave off another inch off the base so the door always clears. They drew it up, took measurements off my truck and gave showed me a prototype. Green lit the project and they did the rest. I stayed about an hour in it reading and it was very comfortable. I need to figure out a better ridge line for my rain tarp but other than that, I'm excited to use it. It gives me a sense of safety being close to the truck.

    Great idea !!!!
    Yes that’s awesome ..
    I love that ...
how hard would it be to modify and add / install same frame to bumpers and always have them available but easy fold away when not in use ..
