I’m ready to pull the trigger on a toolbox, I’ve had enough of my back seat and floorboard being used as storage.

I can’t decide if I want a low profile or regular box, I know I hate the ones that cover up half of the back glass. According to my measurements the depth will hit the wheel wells, but tons of people have them so I’m obviously measuring wrong or I’m missing something.

The guys who have UWS toolboxes can you post pics of yours and also the model number so I can check pricing.

    I appreciate it.

Not like these. I think it had j hooks that I didnt want to use.

I paid $465.82 for this box on Amazon in October. The price on there fluctuates.

I edited my post above. I'm pretty sure it came with j hooks.

For the record, my box arrived with a few dings . It was supposed to be guaranteed damage free delivery. They weren't bad enough for me to send it back for a replacement.

I figure it will get damaged more from use. Ymmv.

I’m reading reviews on that as we speak, several people are complaining about theirs being delivered damaged. I’m the kind of person I’ll keep sending something back until it’s right.

I still have one that went through 2 GMCs, powder coat flaked off but it might have been a blemish. Good tool box, I ended up getting a chest that sits below rail line but if I didn't do that it would have been low profile.

My toolbox came in 100% undamaged, I’m so proud of Fedex, for once my package isn’t F’d up. I ordered some aftermarket J hooks that seem a lot sturdier than the little ones that came with the box. This thing looks good and I hope to have many years of no issues.

Looks good man. Low profiles are the way to go.

I was honestly worried about losing too much bed space by adding the box. Ultimately, I said fuck it because I have an f150 with full size bed if I need to haul something

Yeah I could see how it would be an issue, I don’t haul anything in the bed cause well....getting IN my bed is a chore all in itself. LMAO

don't currently have but did have the regular box on my 2010 double cab, i couldn't decide either but ended up with the regular box cause i wanted to be able to stash stuff in the wings that sit on the bed. i would have regretted having the low profile, never had an issued looking out the back window, think it was just a little higher than the back seat.
