I made a mistake on my order...I accidentally ordered two front sets. Order No. 101780574 Can you cancel that order.

I did a second order for both the front and the rear.

    Thanks

I have seen some where the sensors in the front cause the shell the be warped at the sensor. Is this normal? or does it typically sit flush?

Are these dimples normal or was there a remedy for this?

That's not normal... my paint is actually starting to bubble up around sensor a bit.. barely noticeable but hopefully doesn't get worse

The sensor pulls the the cover down there super tight, so that dimpling is going to happen to a certain extent. Since this past run, we've added a thickness of the 3M tape around the sensor to minimize this.

I just got mine on today and did notice this where it gets sucked in around the sensor a bit. Mine is worse on the passenger side but not horrible as long as the paint isn’t affected. Not sure how much adding 3M tape in the area would help because when you slide the white clip back on behind the bumper, that really pulls the sensor and the cover in super tight. I would have tried the 3M thing had I known about it though...lol. My covers went on pretty good, however I had to trim the sensor opening on the passenger side after it was on as it was not exactly lined up with the bumper hole, and I couldn’t get the sensor through. Also, the lower 10mm screw on the outside edge was not long enough to grab on the passenger side after install, so I bought a slightly longer one and it grabbed no problem. The project was well worth it and I love them so far!BB6F0049-A9E3-4FCF-BEAC-7CDF40A86307.jpg6449C1B3-9056-4685-8A40-5C4451BC19E2.jpg BB7CF252-F82E-48FF-BB58-F11B41735855.jpgBCB93915-CECA-4D2C-BBEA-953F51DEE391.jpg

@EC1 on the vote, for the grill surround overlay, that would include an overlay for the hood bulge as well, correct?

So to access the sensors does this need to be removed? If so is it similar to the ones on the grille where you just lift the inner piece with a flathead? 530C6016-8FA7-4C9A-B1F6-C6AE98338A9F.jpg

Yes- it has to come out to remove the liner and access the sensor. It pops right out if you get an angled screw driver or something like that to pull on it.

I’d say if you could get in the ballpark of the front covers, like in the 200s, it would be worth buying the bulge and surround set over buying the actual color matched parts from Sparks. For mine it’s in the mid 500s for both from Sparks.

We did some tests with the 3M tape on the back side, and it does help, but it doesn't make it go away. Like you said, that white clip keeps them sucked in so tight. The only way to get rid of it completely, would be to file down the white clips on the "spring" portion of those white clips to make it less tight, but there is no way we're putting that in the instructions lol. Truck looks great man! Thanks for the feedback.

We'll have to do some preliminary pricing to see if we can get it in that range. You're right, we need to be well below the cost of the replacement part for the grille and hood bulge. I'm pretty sure we can get there.

EVERYONE PART OF THE ORIGINAL GROUP BUY-------

Hey guys! We sent out our last package from the original group buy on Wednesday, which marks the end of an era. To all of you that were a part of that, from the bottom of my heart, thank you! I think you could all tell that we weren't quite prepared for how big this was going to get, but across the board you guys were patient and understanding with all the delays that have happened. I couldn't have asked for anything better. We are a family owned business, so kids were swapped around every day to make sure a lot of us could stay late and get as much done as possible, and it made it just a little bit easier.

Now that we've closed that chapter we're already starting a new one, so unfortunately I didn't get my 3 day nap lol, but I'll live. Thanks again guys. Thanks for the trust in our business and talking about us online to spread the word. This was the biggest product launch we've ever had in the history of our company, and it's down to all of you. Have a great weekend everyone!

That’s a good idea- filing the clips down to alleviate some of the pull! I’m going to try that since it’s the only option I have besides removing everything, which isn’t gonna happen as I’m just letting my OCD stare at the tiny indent.

    Thanks for putting it on!

I have to pull my whole bumper off to take my plastic end caps off and put the OEM steel ones back on. Would you suggest putting the covers on with the steel caps removed from the bumper, or when they're back on the truck (or just attached to the rest of the bumper)? Would it even matter?

Thanks for the great customer service and producing a great product. I'm glad I hung on and waited for the group buy. This is a great victory on the War on Chrome!

I'm curious how may sets did your company make?

I would do it once you have the bumper back together minus the fender wall and lower valance. You need to line up the edge of the covers with that black center valance, and that can be pretty finicky because of the variation in position of that center cover, and without having the bumper on the truck you'd kind of be flying blind.
