I have only found two things I do not like about my Tundra, the front grill and fuel mileage. But I was aware of both before I traded in my 2015 Tacoma Quad 4X4 and took the Tundra home. What I have in mind is replacing my present SR5 chrome grill (insert only if possible) with a 2018 SR5 chrome "honeycomb style" grill insert or insert with chrome surround if necessary. I do not have the sensor mounted in my present grill so that is not a real concern to me as long as there is some type of Toyota emblem to cover sensor mounting plate. I know most people are trying to trade in the opposite direction, but what can I say. Anyone out there with knowledge or experience that can provide me with some direction on this project?

This is confusing me. Do you mean you want to get rid of your chrome SR5 grill (so does pretty much everyone else), or that you have a honeychome grill you want to trade?

Welcome from SoCal!! Can you post a pic of your truck?

I would like to loose 2017 SR5 grill and replace with 2018 honeycomb grill insert.

Okay, got it. Most everyone on here wants to swap out the chrome insert. But some guys swap several times 'til they find that look they want. Sometimes you can pick up a used grill for a pretty good price. But shipping runs about $100 so finding one close to you is your best bet. If you don't mind, be more specific about where you're located. Or you can buy a new grill (your choice of any 3rd gen option) by contacting @Roman, our official forum parts guy.

Located in Visalia area, between Fresno and Bakersfield. Tried to upload photo, will see how that goes. Photo of actual truck in profile photo. And thanks for the earlier replies. Pretty sure I will go with honeycomb insert if possible. About the best look for my taste.

Sounds good! Too add a photo, have it on your phone or in a file you can find on your computer (whatever you're using). Then select 'upload a file' in the blank box ready for the next post on the thread

then choose from your pictures. It'll take a second to load, then show you a thumbnail. Then you pick the size you want to add. Most of us choose 'full image' so those of us that use our phones can see the pic.

That's a pretty truck! And once you swap out some of that chrome, it will be BA!
