Figured I'd just create a new thread for this.

Ok, so I think I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on my next upgrade and curious what you would do first.

    TRD Pro Grill - $460
    -or-
    Retrofit Headlights - $520 / $740

Depending on what you want/need more of. I just finally switched my headlights out as daylight is less with "Winters Coming" so I wanted the better visual benefit. ... but I did do my Grill first as I wanted the impact of the change back a month or so ago. So I think the Grill may offer more :muscleflexing: but the headlights obviously do their thing.

You're welcome for little to no help with my reply.

I like to knock the more expensive mods out first. Id say do the headlights first since they will provide the benefit of functionality as well as looks rather than just looks!

All depends on what you want done first. The grille is for looks, but like mike and Kevin said, headlights are functional PLUS looks good.
Winter's coming, less daylight, I'd go with headlights and get the grille before spring!!

(Or ask for a grille for Christmas! Win win)

Yeah, that all makes sense. Didn't even think about how it will start getting dark earlier in the day now.

Anyone done the retrofit with the mini D2S from @eledobleu ? I think previously was the 3.0, now he has the 4.0.

Or......you might consider there's a possibility the grill would have to come off to do the headlights. Not sure but possible. Anyway, save up, buy both together, do em at the same time. I did this with my Tacoma as I had to remove the grill to get to the headlights. I don't like those brittle grill clips and only wanted to do that job once. My .02.

Why you gotta be like that @McLovin ... haha.

I've definitely considered it, and you definitely have to remove the grill to get to the lights, from what I understand anyway. I could do both, but not sure if that is smart financially. Humm... Thanks a lot.. ha

Haha, sorry Wes. I'm kinda in the same boat tho. My truck is less than 2 weeks new so I got the bug, bad. Yeah, I could do it all at once but that's not really fun so I'm doing a little here little there. Plus I'm working on Big Red (my Tacoma) also.

That's a quality list right there. I definitely think the hardest part is prioritizing and deciding which products to use for quality and longevity. Keep cruising buddy. You're getting there.
