Anyone else have had this problem? How did you fix it? I’ve taken everything off and put it back on numerous times and the same thing has happened! Help! C5B61816-A3B4-4CFA-9FC1-AEA3E9F5F88E.jpg391CA4E8-7AB4-4CCB-B036-B68AE237A7CA.jpg

Recheck the clips, maybe they are not sitting right.

Check to see if the headlight is installed correctly. It has to clip on the bottom near the grill to a metal piece.

They’re both in, everything lines up perfectly except the holes on top of the grill to put the screws in 7BAA78FF-53D4-4885-AC67-2FA4FC3901B1.jpg

From here, it looks like your hood is not aligned.

I have never done it. But there are usually rubber bumpers along the front near the corners for up and down adjustments. For front to back adjustments, I suppose you would need to loosen the hood to hinge bolts.

Adjusted those rubber stoppers a bit and it did help but yeah the hood is unaligned to the right a bit, I’m going to tell them at my first oil change and see if they fix it 569F4BF6-59BC-4658-9419-1002B4C06461.jpg

Adjusting the rubber bumpers will only change the height of the hood at the grille when the hood is latched closed. Side gaps on a properly adjusted hood should be approximately equal width from the windshield to grille, the same from one fender to the other, and the hood surface flush with the tops of the fenders. Your hood gaps actually look good. Beyond that, adjusting the bumpers is going to compromise the hood fit slightly, but may be worth it for improvement elsewhere.

Your gaps are different at the tops of the headlights (see below). I would suspect one of the headlights is not seated properly as mentioned earlier. My gaps above the headlights are equal and about 3/8" on both sides. My experience was the that bottom of the headlight needs to be installed first (not easy to properly engage the bottom tab), then the tabs on the top of the headlight will very tightly snap over the screw hole dowels when the headlight is rotated into position. During the rotation, you'll be fighting the harnesses behind which are determined to get in the way. As I recall, there is no interference between headlights and grille, so the headlights should not be affecting grille fit.

Toyota designs these headlight/grille parts to snap together with precision like Legos, and they train their people how to do it properly on the assembly line. There is virtually no opportunity for adjustment after installation, and the only way it wouldn't be perfect after proper installation is that the steel underneath is wrong. If you can find no reason for the difference in headlight gaps, and this is a new truck, you may want to investigate the possibility that the front end has been previously repaired.

I was started to suspect myself that there could be front end damage, I was scrolling through my photos and noticed that when they first brought the truck up I snapped a pic and the grill is crooked 60F78211-DF96-4155-9FEC-84AA2F624EC3.jpg
