I got under the Red Freighter and I greased the drive line. All of the maintenance was previously done at the dealer (previous owner) and I'm darn sure they didn't do this. It also appears the factory just puts grease on the bearings not injected thru the zerk. I think it would be a good idea to grease these right from the get go. Have a great day, Fred.

Def put some grease in there now. Pump it in through the zerks and do it every oil change or every other oil change.

The owners manual says every 5000 miles (over kill in my opinion) and the dealership didn't do it. I think you should check the zerks (8) to see if they are greasy.
