Got my new 2026 1794 Edition

Hey all. Here a pic of my 2026 1794 Edition in Blueprint. Here because I’d like to see what accessories/Mods are being done and to also see about Tundra events in my area (Long Island now), and in my soon to be new full time location of Daytona Beach. TYIA for all positive input.

Blueprint is a nice color..

I'll have to say my favorite mod is this module.
It cancels the start/stop BS when you start the truck.
Although it might not engage if you remote start and then immediately restart the engine.
Takes 5 minutes to install.

I have many other mods that cost a lot more, but that is by far my favorite.

 

Thanks. I would definitely have gotten this but I did get a hybrid so I don’t notice any lag as Hybrid kicks in. I am interested in the truck not shutting off when remote started and also having it stay on for a longer time period then ten minutes. Also this my second Tundra. I had a 2010 and had put an aftermarket alarm/remote started on it that allowed longer run time. Guessing it might be my only option again.

 

Sorry, but those two issues cannot be changed.
The remote start engine off when unlocking the door is a Toyota thing, as well as the set running time.
When your year of the free Toyota app ends, if it is still a problem, there are aftermarket remote starts that will solve your issues.

Yes, I'd guess the engine stopping at a red light would not be that big a problem with a hybrid.
I had a loaner hybrid years ago and didn't notice it that much.
In my non-hybrid, it is very annoying..

I keep this in my truck all the time; no one rides back there.

But I use this on the rare occasion I have the dogs back there.
I like that it covers the door panels and is somewhat flat.

Thanks for the recco. I’ve had good experiences with this one and it’s a bit cheaper. My Rhodesian Ridgeback is over 100lbs and seems quite comfortable.

It works in my 2026 non-hybrid.

Just keep in mind that if you remote start and immediately restart, it will not engage.
Also, if you shut the engine off and restart quickly, it will not engage.
But the dash button will still cancel or turn on the stop/start at any time.

I wish I had one for my wife's BMW.
