Just got an almost new 2020 crewmax platinum with 3k miles from carmax 2 weeks ago. I traded in a ford same year with an ecoboost and 10 speed. That truck was super comfy fast and reliable until the tranny gave out at 80kmiles. It couldnt even go up hill on a parkway with the slipping tranny. It was barely able to move on flat interstate hills on the day of trade in at carmax:)) Me and my son was testing and looking at new model x, trx, lightning, raptor, new tundra TRD etc prior and we ended up picking the used 2020 tundra. My teenage son said why would you wanna buy something with another 10 speed? :)) so here I am with a much cheaper daily than before. My previous daily was almost $80k new in 2019. And this one is $60k used in 2023....am still in the honeymoon stage with this new old truck ....so far so good
