This works well for mice. Bad for chipmunks, I tried and failed. I have a huge chipmunk problem at my house. I end up filling a bucket half with water and covering with sunflower seeds and they jump off a ramp into it. I go through a lot of sunflower seeds and "trap" about 30-40 chipmunks per year and they are still everywhere and very destructive.

Works good for mice, not so good for pack rats or Voles.

I went a different route. I also may be getting a few barn cats, without the barn...lol.

These work really well. Ask me how I know...

    upload_2019-4-17_9-27-55.jpg

There was something really satisfying about hearing them go "SNAP" in the middle of the night. Wear disposable gloves when setting them up. Rats are too smart for bucket traps and know to avoid human scent. They also love dog food.
