Got 6112/5160 installed but..

The rear bushings are cracked? I had the shop order the shocks/coilovers.

Searching the history here, some people say bilstein doesn’t provide new bushings, but others do… im assuming the place they ordered from didn’t?

Anyways is it bad to leave the bushings as is or do I now have to pay more to get it replaced by a different shop?

 

They are cracked but still there. I'd just run 'em as is.

 

I'd look to eventually replace them, but no real hurry. Like BillyB said - they are cracked but still there. When they are REALLY toast, they just disintegrate and fall out.

I honestly don't recall whether or not Bilstein supplies bushings, but I don't think they do. You can take a quick look at install instructions online and find out. They will tell you to reuse the stock bushings or replace them. I've got a lot of miles on 6112/5160's; they are a great shock setup.
