Congrats on the purchase. I hope you're not too big...that 4Runner is real nice, and real snug inside. My buddy has a sweet Cavalry Blue TRD Pro 4Runner. 4Runner guys are just as obsessive with modding their trucks so I'm sure you'll find a community to help you keep spending your hard earned money!

We have both, the 4runner feels so odd now that Im used to the Tundra. Had a Tacoma prior. I see that your south of Portland, the 4runner will be much more enjoyable driving around there.

Bulletproof SUV’s. Do yourself a favor and get a sprint booster for it. The v6 will take some getting used to - the sprint booster helps a ton

I had numerous reactions in succeeding order:

    • 4Runners are great vehicles [far superior to a Tacoma in my book], good for ya'
    • Those window pillars on your truck look great without the black vinyl: puttin' that on my list of must do's!
    • What rims are your running: are those some kind of Black Rhinos or what?

4Runners are great. I had a 2016 I traded in for my Tundra because I needed headroom and wanted a V8

    4Runner probably will excel off-road.

Not stupid at all. We have a 19 TRD Off-road 4Runner and the Tundra. Wouldn’t you know it all the cool mods on Tundras apply to 4runners. My wife’s is getting the majority of the attention right now. Though they both just got Dirty deeds exhaust. If your looking to part with more money t4r.org will help you.. Congrats on the new 4Runner.

Ain’t nothing wrong with that trade if thats what makes you happy! Badass vehicle! My wife drives a 2017 TRD Off Road 4Runner. It’s been great for us. If I get tired of my Tundra I believe that I’m going to get a used 4Runner Pro. Enjoy and hang around!

Congrats. My wife drives a ‘11 w/90k+ miles. Loves it & She won’t sell it. Only problem we had was a fuel sending unit went bad about 80k and was covered 100% by Toyota.

Enjoy and You still got a full roll down rear window!

Well at least you stayed in the same family!!! Nice 4Runner too. If they still had the FJ in a TRD I think I wound trade my Tundy in on one. I used my pops the one year in a snow storm and the thing was a beast. My Tundy would of been stuck. Good luck with the new purchase.
